Mission

The Office of Student Life strives to provide high quality programming to Frostburg State University students. Students will engage in high-impact programming to make a difference in the community they call home for four years while learning meaningful life skills to better prepare them for life after college.

Vision

Students who participate in Student Life programming at Frostburg State University will be prepared for life after college so they can continue making an impact on their communities long after they leave FSU. 

Values

The Office of Student Life focuses on these 3 pillars:

• Engagement – Students who are engaged in their campus communities excel in both their academics and co-curricular activities. OSL will provide out of class experiences that propel students forward in their chosen paths.
• Leadership – Students will engage in various leadership opportunities to hone their skills. OSL believes that every student has leadership potential and we’re here to help find it.
• Service – Service is a key part of any thriving community. OSL will provide students with engaging, fun, and interactive service opportunities so, as alumni, they will continue seeking opportunities to better their communities.
