Facilities

The Visual Arts department provides accommodation for Graphic Design, Illustration, Painting, Sculpture, Printmaking, Photography, Ceramics and Art History.

Students enjoy excellent facilities, including studios, darkrooms, state-of-the-art computer labs and are able to develop and share ideas across interdisciplinary boundaries in a purpose-built environment.

Two new Macintosh computer labs in the new CCIT building are utilized specifically by students enrolled in the graphic design program. A variety of medium to large-format color printers (pigment & solvent), laser engraver and 3D printer are also available. The photo facility contains professional large format inkjet printers and scanning equipment, a complete analog B&W darkroom, and a professionally equipped lighting studio.

Interdisciplinary experimentation is encouraged as our faculty is committed to assisting artists in the realization of their creative goals.
