Handicapped Accommodations
There is a handicapped parking area (there will be signage showing the areas) and there is an entrance to the lower level of the PE Center off that lot with an elevator that takes you right up into the lobby.
There will be a reserved area on the floor for guests in wheelchairs, which may also have one family member or friend sit with them. There will be a section marked as reserved seating in certain areas on both sides of the arena reserved for anyone who is not able to climb the bleachers. A guest in need of sitting in this area may have one friend/family member sit with them. Some of the seating is unpadded bleacher seating, so if that is a concern, you may want to bring a cushion or seat pad.
There is no reservation system or need to call ahead, unless you have a particular concern. We do our best to create abundant space for our guests with disabilities and there will be ushers there to assist you in any way necessary.
Wheelchairs are not provided by the University.
A sign language interpreter will also be translating the ceremony. Upon entering the arena, just locate an usher, and they will escort you to the area in front of the interpreter, if needed.
For those who cannot attend, the ceremony will be STREAMED LIVE. The link will be provided on the front page of the FSU web site.
