Memorial gifts that are received with no designation, and for which no prior instruction is on file with the FSU Foundation, will support the unrestricted Annual Fund.
What do I need to do to start a scholarship or program fund in my loved one's name?
Contact the FSU Foundation to begin discussions about establishing a new fund. The minimum to endow a fund is $10,000. If memorial gifts of less than $10,000 are received in someone's name to establish a proposed scholarship or program fund, a holding fund will be opened. Options to build the fund, transfer to an existing fund, or expend as a pass-through award will be discussed with the individual who initiated the holding fund.
